For playing VOD or live IPTV content on a PC, we have developed the world's fasted MPEG-4 AVC / H.264 video decoder (which is part of the software suite mpegableDS). No extra hardware or any kind of accelarator is required.

We do care a lot about interoperability, because, across the overall ecosystem, it starts in the headend. We are constantly undertaking interoperability tests with partner companies delivering decoding and specifically STB devices.
