dicas with new MPEG-4 AVC decoder for High Profile

dicas have released a new version of its mpegable AVC decoder. With support for Main profile already present in the current version, support for High Profile has now been added.

With interoperability being of paramount importance, dicas have undertaken extensive tests and all non-commercially and commercially available test streams can be decoded successfully by the mpegable AVC software decoder.

The mpegable AVC decoder software is a high performance MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 software component, extremely error resilient, easy to integrate and fully compliant with MPEG-4 AVC/H.264. It is part of the full dicas mpegable software set for MPEG-4 AVC/H.264, components of which include encoder/decoder software which is also available for Windows, Linux, Sun Solaris and OS X.

This new mpegable AVC decoder is also designed to be ported onto various DSP platforms and for usage as reference code for hardware developers.
